The Renaissance is an elegant modern hotel with easy access to the main sights of HCMC and many local eating places. The staffs were charming and did everything possible to make our stay comfortable and relaxed. We enjoyed using the rooftop swimming pool and were astounded by the views it commanded of the city - especially the activity on the river. The staffs were most helpful in booking a trip to the Cu Chi Tunnels and the use of the Business Centre to e-mail home. An added delight - the musicians performing in the foyer! We would have no hesitation in recommending the Renaissance to visitors to HCMC. Trevor, United Kingdom 

We stayed for 5 nights and we were overall happy with service. Fitness centre was basic but was not busy so always got the required equipment. We had excellent service at breakfast and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is good too and walking distance to the market and shopping. Suryakant, United Kingdom 

Good location and very friendly staff. We were on the club floor (higher floor) and had a great view of the river. The best part of the club floor was the access to the lounge on the 18th floor. The lounge provided free soft drinks and light snacks until 12 midnight, free wine, liquor, and plenty of great food between 5:30 and 7:30 PM, and wi-fi internet. We spent quite a bit of relaxing time there. The hotel also had a good ladies cloth store (Diva Silk) where my wife tailor-made some silk dresses. While the swimming pool was small, the exercise facility was good (both located on the top floor). We found the cost of a guided city-tour much cheaper through an outside travel agency (many available just down the main street from the hotel) than the tour agency that was located at the hotel. The breakfast, which was included in the rate, had a good spread. The Vietnamese beef pho, baguette and waffle were perfect. The staff spoke good English and were polite and we loved the view from our riverview rooms, although it would be better if the window glass were sound-proof. The location is good, a short distance away from the hustle and bustle of Dong Khoi Road, but near enough to the shopping belt. Wong, Singapore 

The receptionists could speak fairly fluent English and the bell hops were friendly and helpful. The breakfast spread was good too. The gym was well equipped. Overall, a wonderful experience! Linda, Singapore 

Great service at all times! Nice modern fresh rooms, bathroom a bit small. Great beds and linen. A bit noisy on the riverside! Pricing the the internet service is too high and the pool area is a little disappointing however the gym is quite good. Highly recommend this hotel, especially for holiday makers! Peter, Australia
