| Elios Saigon Hotel Reviews | |||||

I stayed at the Elios for 6 nights. When I first got there they had put me in a room with no window!! I asked if they could move me and they were very accommodating and by 2.0.clock had moved me to a much better room with a window. The view wasn't the best but at least I had some air. They had free use of the internet which was great as long as you could get the kids off them. It was a bit slow but I didn't have too many problems. The proximity of the Elios was fabulous - close to everything - markets, restaurants, transport. the staff were very nice and the breakfast was fine and there was quite a selection of different foods. If I went back to HCM I would certainly stay there again as for the money it was very good value. Sandra, United Kingdom
Stayed there
twice during our recent visit to Vietnam in September. My friend had his
own room and so did I. Overall hotel was nice, good location etc and
quiet too which is unusual being on Pham Ngu Lao. We took off to Hoi An
in the middle of our Saigon stay so we came back to a different room and
the four rooms between us were all quiet and all to same good standard.
Some had windows, some didn't. Breakfast on top floor was good. Only
blight on trip was when one guy on front desk was adamant he gave me
back my passport when he did not and after I spent time checking through
my bags (just before trying to get to the airport - luckky I remembered
they still had it!). My friend persisted in getting him to check every
drawer, which he wasn't going to do as he was SO sure I had it. Lesson:
ask for your passport back after you check in. Other than that, people
at hotel were great. Centrally located to tourist attractions and shops and eateries are aplenty in the vicinity. Room is acceptable though triple sharing will bring about traffic jam! Front desk staffs are friendly and helpful and free internet at cafe is a big plus but I just can't figure out one thing: I wasn't allowed to bring a local friend up to my room at 6pm as the duty manager said it's for my safety. Ian, UK We found the Elios great value with friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were clean and everything worked. Free internet was great and wireless avail in room. Would stay there again and Asia Rooms was very efficient in making reservation. Kevin, Australia Found Elios to be in a great position, only about a 5min walk to Benn Thanh market, and surrounding side streets great for dinner and eating out. The breakfast buffet was great. I would definitely stay again. It’s a really nice hotel too including foyer etc. Alana, Australia I stayed at the Hotel in July 2008.I found the room to be very clean, and tidy. It is in a good location close to the market. Staff very friendly and helpful! Greg, Australia |
